We watched and cheered the Ford Ironman Wisconsin (in Madison) on Sunday, September 7, 2008. We had a few friends competing and made a few as well (Go Mike Go). Our friend Denny, pictured above, did awesome: 1:11:01 (swim 2.4 miles); 5:31:11 (bike 112 miles); and 3:29:13 (run 26.2 miles) = 10:23:14 (total time). Denny was 116 out of 2,206 finishers.Watching these athletes race 140.6 miles in one day sure made the 19 miles Leslye and I ran on Saturday feel like a walk in the park. No complaining here!!! Totally inspired by these crazy, and I mean crazy, IRONMAN competitors!!!!! Cheers, Josh
